The Qutub Minar

Qutab-ud-din Aibak built the Quatub Minar after he defeated Delhi's last Hindu Kingdom. It has five distinct storeys. The red sandstones are used for first three storeys. Marble and sandstone used for the fourth and fifth floors. The Quwwat-UL-Islam Mosque, the first mosque to be built in India situated at the foot of the tower.

It is the living memories of the soldiers who fought and died in the first world war. They were part of the British army. Edward Lutyens is the constructor of the India gate, It took around 10 years to complete the historical gate which is having 42 meters of height.
